Originally built during the 1930's, used on the Newcastle Express trains, as a 4-car train, Sets 77 & 78 were painted in a variety of colour schemes, firstly in Red and Cream, Tuscan and Tuscan & Russet.
Models features crownlight windows. The cars feature fully detailed interiors and underfloor detail, plus coupler bars for those who wish to permanently couple their sets
Introduced in 1951, ran as a block train of 16 wagons, hauled by two AD60 class Garratts between Molong and Orange, then a single Garratt to Lithgow, and two 46 class over the Blue Mountains. As N645, it continued to Gosford, where a 36 and a Garratt took over for the final run to Cockle Creek.
