Blue Point Switch Machine

Blue Point Switch Machines are actuated by a simple push rod to your layout's fascia. The adjustable throw rod holds the switch points in positive contact with the running rails to prevent derailments. A DPDT snap-action toggle switch inside the compact plastic housing changes electrical connections to the turnout frog to prevent stalling of locomotives.

Wiring your layout is simplified, because no electrical power is required to throw the switch. For use with all track gauges N through O. Dimensions: 1-1/4 inches wide x 1-3/8 inches deep x 2-3/8 inches high. (Push rod not included.)

NCE Switch-It

Controls two SwitchMasterTM, TortoiseTM or similar stall motor switch machines. Switch-It remembers the position of your switches during power outages. Each output of the decoder can have a completely different accessory address. The Switch-It provides connections for "local control" pushbuttons. Control switches from your cabs and your mini panels

12" Y-cord

Y cables are used to attach two servos to one output.  Both servos will move in the same manner at the same time.  Could be used, for example, to control a crossover or a passing siding.  Does not affect the servo power.  The Y can can also be used with the fascia controllers for the Quad-Pic to provide two control points for one switch.  Use one for a pair of servos and one for a controller at the same time and you can set up a passing siding with control points at both ends!

Octopus III

Board has 8 positions for driving servos between two positions and 8 inputs for fascia controllers or toggle switches. 

Octopus III uses the remote board (below) to align the servos and has automated endpoint adjustment as well as full manual control. 

Ideal for use with TAM miniature servos and the servo mounting kit Power with 5-24V DC (do not use AC). 

Octopus III has a built-in switching power supply for high efficiency and greater range.

DCC Specialties Block Watcher

No Power Supply Needed:  Develops power from the DCC input connections.Very Low Voltage Drop: The resistance is less than 0.060 Ohms, very small voltage drop.Adaptive Block Leakage Detection: Electronically determines the amount of leakage current in the block when power is turned on. The current can also be set with a CV value up to about 130 mA.Stabilized Setting for Current Trip Level: This prevents the block detection from fluttering on and off when the current is near the trip level.

Block Detection Option: Block detection can be turned on with an Accessory Command for testing signals even with nothing in the block. This feature can also be used to turn the signals red to protect a crossing.

Block Detection Output Isolated from Track Power: The output switch is totally isolated from the track power. This eliminates many wiring problems when combining signal circuits and track power.

Outputs for LED Indicator: A single LED output can be used for a remote location.

Miniature Servo Motor (SG90)

Have plenty of power for hinged point turnouts and smaller rail (c55 and smaller) solid point turnouts - when used with the servo mounting kit (SMK002 below) then it can handle higher loads, up to c100 non-hinged rail.  If the point rails are hinged then the rail size is not an issue - it has been used up to G scale. Our servo brackets are custom made to fit these servos. Size 1.25" wide (including mounting tabs) x 0.5" deep x 1.125" tall.  Servo lead about 7".  The label on the servo and the lead colors may vary between batches.  Works with all of our boards.

Note: The current demand from the decoders are 0.1 amps. On a DCC layout the addition of a additional booster for a large number will require the additional booster.

LAIS - Stay Alive Kits 

Supplies power to decoders during times of power interruption due to dirty track or problematic track work.

Powers HO Locomotives for approximately 6 to 20 seconds (depending on the locomotive and the efficiency of the motor). Includes a blue and a black wire with which to attach it to a decoder. The blue wire is the positive/DC+, the black wire is the GND. You can use it with sound decoders and mobile decoders.

The operator side is fitted with RJ-12 jacks for throttles while offering CAT5 cable connections for improved noise rejection on larger layouts using standard computer CAT 5 cables. DCC Dual Frog Juicer/Auto-Reverser/Circuit Breaker

Can be configured to use as an automatic polarity reverser for two frogs, a reversing loop, a turntable, a wye, or a crossing.  It can also be used as a circuit breaker to control a power district (with the bonus it will reverse polarity if needed).  It uses the same basic design as the hex frog juicer but has 33 Amp transistors so it can be used with multi-unit lash ups and 10 Amp boosters.  Setup is simple, connect the input to the DCC track bus, and connect the output wires either to two frogs or two rails.  A jumper controls whether the two outputs act as a pair (i.e. an auto-reverser) or independently (i.e. a pair of frog juicers).  Another pair of jumpers controls the current set point for switching, either 2 Amps or 4 Amps.  When used for frogs or crossings generally 2 Amps work best and for an auto-reversing application, 4 Amps generally works best.

There were 250 VSX Louvre Vans built for the Victorian Railways between 1972 & 1976. The initial batch of 100 were built by the Ballarat North Workshops, with the Newport Workshops building a further 50 wagons. The final batch of 100 Vans were built once again by the Ballarat North Workshops. 

Gauge convertible, they have been used extensively across mainland Australia on both standard gauge and on their own native broad gauge. They have visited all of the major state capital cities and rail centres throughout Australia. 

From carrying general goods, pet food, newsprint, and in later years bagged rice, these 56' Louvre Vans have proved to be a versatile wagon and the backbone of the Victorian Railways. 

These models feature opening sliding doors, checker plate pattern on the internal floor surface, cargo barriers, a choice of plain pattern or louvre doors, and versions with and without the end louvre on the roof panel. They also come with metal couplers, and metal pin point axles. 

There are 4 body styles produced across 10 different packs. Each pack contains 3 'HO' Scale models.
