NCE SB5 Smart Booster

The SB5 Smart Booster expands the features of the Power Cab DCC System

* Supplied with 5 amp DC power supply
* Use up to 6 cabs with the SB5
* Converts to plain booster to expand to a PowerPro
* Use the PowerCab as a walk around throttle

* Peak Output Current: 5.0 Amps - 3.5 Amps continuous
* Power supply: DC supplied with AU plug
* Short circuit handling: Auto-shutdown [500mS] 
* Output voltage: Factory set

* Maximum number of cabs: 6 [range 2 to 7] 
   plus USB/AIU/Mini panel range 8 - 10 
* Maximum number of simultaneous trains: 18 
* Functions controlled: 29
* Locomotive address range 1 -127 [shot] 0-9999 [long] 
* Accessory Range: 1 - 2044
* Signal Address Range: 1 - 2044
* Maximum number of adv. consists: 16 [range 112 - 127] 
* Maximum number of old-style consists: 6 per cab [36 total]

IMPORTANT 

The SB5 can only be left on a short or overload for a maximum of 1 - 2 minutes. To ensure that the system is protected for a longer period all Australian supplied systems will have an EB1 circuit breaker supplied set to 2.5 amps.

The maximum amps permitted is 3.5 per EB1

Failure to install and test EB1 as per attached instruction voids warranty.
